The care provided by both of us was judged by OFSTED, after full inspections, to be Good in all areas, in May 2005 and August 2006.
"Children are involved and interested in the activities provided and develop good relationships with each other and with the adults who care for them. They are settled, confident and independent but are not afraid to ask for help and support when this is needed. They have opportunities to experience a wide variety of play experiences but creative activities are particularly well planned and stimulating. "Children are very happy, relaxed and confident in the stimulating, caring, friendly atmosphere. They are progressing exceptionally well in all aspects of their development through activities, the childminders interaction and her use of the daily routine to promote learning. The programme of activities is varied and includes child-initiated play, stories, role play, adult-led creative activities, cooking, music, singing, quiet times and meals. Daily outings in the local area take place, such as to the library, shops, parks, woods, indoor activity centres, toddler and music groups." (Aug 2006)
